Jaafar Taib was born in Alor Gajah, Malacca on July 28, 1952.
Started his career in art 30 years ago as an illustrator and today has attained a solid reputation in the world of publication and establish painter. His natural talent expresses itself through varios aspects of art, including human and animal figures as well as works combining cultural element. However, 'Bird of Malaysia' has been his main focus. Hundereds of different speices of bird captured on film and digital format as his references. The largest part of Jaafar Taib collection works belong to private and corporate collectors, both in the country and abroad. |
